Site Assessment

We conduct a full site assessment prior to providing an estimate in order to determine the technical feasibility of a hearing loop. This assessment takes into account the size and configuration of the space to be looped, any electrical interference which may impact loop operation, and any significant metal presence which may also impact loop performance. Our goal is to provide a hearing loop which will meet all of the requirements of

IEC 60118-4 ED. 3.0 B:2014: Electroacoustics - Hearing aids - Part 4: Induction-loop systems for hearing aid purposes - System performance requirements.

Loop Installation

We are fully prepared to do the complete installation of any loop that we provide. We also will work with facility staff or volunteers in those situations where facility management wants to be involved.

Loop Testing

All hearing loops we install are tested to the latest version of

IEC 60118-4 ED. 3.0 B:2014: Electroacoustics - Hearing aids - Part 4: Induction-loop systems for hearing aid purposes - System performance requirements.

This standard defines requirements for signal strength throughout the loop, frequency response within the loop, overall signal strength of the loop, signage and training.

Troubleshooting

We will gladly assist in troubleshooting any loop installation, whether we installed it or someone else did.

User Feedback

We rely on and encourage user feedback in all phases of our installation. It is important that we are meeting all of our customer's requirements throughout the process. This includes placement of the loop wire in a manner that is consistent with their expectations, ensuring that the loop installation provides both sufficient volume and clarity for the final users and taking into account any other issues users may raise.

On-Site Verification/Training

We are on site for the inauguration of any loop installation. This allows us to interact directly with the system operators and users. We also make use of this time to perform final adjustments to the hearing loop system and to provide training to both the operators and users of the system.

Needs Assessment

While our primary business is the installation of hearing loops, we realize that there may be other technologies that could be of benefit the the hearing loss community. Our background allows us to work with the end user to determine their specific needs and to recommend assistive devices that best meet their needs.
